‘Localize, Collate, and Design’ explores a collection of technologies and practices necessary for promoting practical and widespread material reuse in the construction industry. Building on previous research in automatically scanning for reusable materials in pre-demolition sites, this project now covers the designer experience of interfacing and designing with the available materials, with direct feedback and suggestions from the system for better utilization of the resources.
